Reading aloud is one of the best ways to supplement adventurous learning activities like museums, zoos, & traveling, and make connections about the world.
By instilling a love of reading early on, children want to continue the journey on their own all the way into adulthood.
India month showed them the beauty of places far away from where they live today.
Outer Space month dared them to dream and imagine life on other planets.
Vikings month took them on a journey back to important moments in history.
We undertake an extensive process to identify books that bring together great stories, have beautiful illustrations, and are sure to spark your child’s imagination. We start by compiling a list of all the books that relate to our theme and review each and every one – often hundreds each month!
Our final selection includes input from two experts: a children’s librarian and a highly accomplished children’s author. Each month, we are looking to uncover two to three hidden treasures per club that are not already on your bookshelf and that showcase diverse perspectives on the theme.
To ensure it’s a surprise for everybody, we purposely don’t publicize the contents of upcoming boxes!
The first box will be shipped within 3 business days of your order and receiving the shipping information. Subsequent boxes will be shipped either at the beginning or the middle of future months.
We’ll immediately email your gift recipient notifying them of your gift and asking for their address, so the shipping address is not required to place an order.
